WorkSafeBC is proud to host the BC in 2008 Conference, a unique event combining the IAIABC’s 94th Annual Convention with the annual AWCBC Learning Symposium, which brings approximately 400 delegates together to discuss topics relating to workers’ compensation in Canada, the U.S., and around the world.
IAIABC
The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards & Commissions (IAIABC) is a not-for-profit trade association representing government agencies that administer workers' compensation systems in Canada, the U.S., and around the world.
AWCBC
The Association of Workers’ Compensation Boards of Canada (AWCBC) was founded in 1919 as a non-profit organization to facilitate the exchange of information between workers’ compensation boards and commissions at a time when workers’ compensation law, policy, and administration were in their infancy. Today, the AWCBC strives to achieve excellence through data analysis, shared knowledge, education, and networking.
